A senior research associate in the department of automated biotechnology at Merck Research Laboratories claims that the absolute reproducibility afforded by automated cell culture protocols can improve the development and robustness of an assay, and that analyzing quality control parameters captured by the automated cell culture system can enhance troubleshooting.
