GSK First to Buy HTP, Automated

The technology, better known as MACCS, enables researchers to culture frozen stock of cells and grow them for assay-ready drug discovery research. MatriCal sold the unit after around 10 pharma companies, including GSK, provided “very good feedback into the development of the product,” according to MatriCal’s CEO.
